Easter

Saturday, March 15, 2008

Tessa and a few of her friends attending the annual Easter basket hunt downtown.

"What are you cooking, mamma?"
"Scrambled eggs."
"Ewe. I don't like scrambled eggs!"
"Yes, you do."
"You want me to TRY them? Like I try on shoes? Cause we gotta try stuff?"

Tessa and mamma are sitting in a waiting room. Mamma picks up a magazine that happens to have a photo of an older couple on it. "You need to get married, Mamma, so I can have a daddy."

We're in the car, heading to Milwaukee.
"Mamma. Are we going out to eat?"
"Yup."
"CHINEESE! Can we do Chinese. I've been so good.
Please. Please. Please."
"We're eating Indian."
"EWE!!! That's disgusting!" [pause] "Is it made with real Indians?"

Tessa loves puzzles. She put together her first 100-piece puzzle and then followed up with some of her favorite puzzles.

First School Bus Experience

The entire school went on a field trip...with the school bus. They went to a neighboring town to attend chapel.
[cue crowd "oooooohh"]
They then went to a movie in a movie theatre. Another first for Tessa.
