A very pregnat woman comes to the house. Tessa looks at her belly and tells her, "You ate too much."

Hickory Dickory Dock

Tessa is running around the room until she notices the grandfather clock in the corner of the room. She stops, carefully walks up to the clock and closely examines it top to bottom, front to back. Puzzled, she asks, "Mamma? Where's the mouse?"

Tessa's First Funeral

Tessa looks at her great uncle in the coffin. Then asks his widow, "Why does he need those glasses if his eyes are closed?"

Tessa, fascinated by the idea of death, keeps going to the back of the receiving line so she can see her dead great uncle again and again. Momma suggests they sit in a pew, where Tessa can see everything that's going on next to the coffin. Tessa sits for a while then turns and asks, "Where is his cross?"
