Handing off the batton

Tessa is coming to the end of first grade. She can now read and she's passionate about writing. She is able to express in words (though she writes in her own hybrid of phonics & English I call Englonics) what she does not say verbally. Seldom do you see her without pen and paper.

A few weeks ago I got an iPad. Tessa has taken it over. I showed her nothing about the device. She instinctively knew how to use it. Games. Netflix. Drawing. Writing. Jumping from one app to the next, effortlessly. A natural teckno.

So it is time to hand over this neglected blog to the once toddler who inspired it. I'll leave it to her own creativity without hovering...editing...censoring.
