At 1:48 PM, Penny said...: Morbid. THINK about the bible stories that we often call CHILDREN's bible stories. Excile from Egypt (death of first born sons, water turned to blood), Joseph being tossed in a hole by his brothers and then sold as a slave (EXTREME sibling rivalry), Moses being sent off in a basket because more babies were being killed, Solomon splitting babies (you can NOT explain to a 3-year-old that Salomon didn't really INTEND to cut the baby in half) Sampson the superhero who slept with Delilah...oh my, it goes on and on.
